What this site collects
The short version
This is a personal site of games and apps. It has no accounts, no ads, and stores nothing about you on a server. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. Your game progress stays in your own browser.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare handles each request and may keep short-lived technical logs (such as your IP address and the page requested) to run and protect the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Visitor statistics
To see which pages and games people use and how quickly they load, the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. A small script records the page you're on, the site that linked you here, your country, your browser, operating system and type of device, and how long the page took to load. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and doesn't fingerprint or follow you across other sites. I only see totals, never individual visitors. Visits from the European Union are excluded: Cloudflare discards the statistics its EU data centres collect.
Games and preferences
The games save your progress and stats, such as today's SamWordle board or what you've bought in Spend a Billionaire's Money, in your browser only. So does your light-or-dark theme choice. None of it is sent anywhere, and clearing your browser's site data resets it.
Donations
The donate buttons take you to PayPal or Buy Me a Coffee, which handle the payment under their own privacy policies. This site never sees your payment details.
Links to other sites
Links to Sam's other sites, samlehardy.com and Newhoo!, add your light-or-dark choice to the address so they open to match, and nothing else. Apps and other links open on their own sites, each with its own privacy policy. Nothing from those sites loads here until you click.
